  Why Autumn Fills Me with Happiness and Warmth, EVEN IN FLORIDA: Living in Florida means autumn doesn’t always look like the picture-perfect scenes of falling red and golden leaves. Our palm trees don’t change color, and the air doesn’t always bring that classic crisp chill. But, even without the dramatic shifts, autumn still fills me with happiness and warmth—and maybe that makes me appreciate it even more. For me, autumn is more of a  feeling  than a season. It’s that subtle shift in energy when the summer heat finally begins to ease up, and evenings become just a little cooler.
